Job Opportunity: CNC Field Service Technician
In-House CNC

Job Duties Upon Completion of Training
- Self-directed travel to customer sites.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on CNC routers and machining centers.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Collaborate with customers to identify problems and provide effective solutions.
- Install, test, and commission new equipment.
- Provide training to customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance.
- Document all service activities, including parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions.
Requirements
- Travel: Must be able to travel extensively, including overnight trips. Candidates should expect frequent domestic air travel, Monday through Friday.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in wiring control systems (480V/120V/24V power, drives, motors, I/O, and sensors).
- Experience installing, parametrizing, and troubleshooting variable frequency drives.
- Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and general mechanical systems.
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
- CNC machine experience is a plus.
- Experience with Fanuc control systems is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
- Overtime available.
- Expected hours: 40–60 per week.
- Travel Requirement:
- 75% domestic travel (Required).
