Job Opportunity: Maintenance Assistant

In-House CNC is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to support our maintenance technician in performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities. CNC experience is a plus but not required — we’re happy to train candidates with prior maintenance experience who are eager to grow with us!
Position Details
- Title: Maintenance Assistant
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Pay Range: $18.00 – $25.50 per hour (based on experience and skills).

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC and other shop equipment, as well as building systems.
- Inspect and identify equipment or machinery in need of repair.
- Move materials, equipment, and supplies as necessary.
- Lubricate machinery and clean parts and tools to maintain optimal functionality.
- Assist with cleaning and upkeep of the shop and work areas.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the maintenance technician or management.
What We’re Looking For
Skills and Abilities
- Previous maintenance experience is required.
- Knowledge of shop machinery and repair is preferred.
- Experience in CNC equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, forklifts, pallet jacks, vacuums, and drum vacuums.
- Must prioritize safety, including the proper use of safety equipment and adherence to shop protocols.
- Basic computer skills for tracking maintenance activities.
- Dependable team player with strong communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with temperature variations and occasional outdoor exposure.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and kneeling.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds.
- Regular twisting, reaching (overhead and outward), grasping, and crawling.
- Occasional bending, squatting, climbing, and sitting.
